Bush Raisins
This small native plant has many uses. indigenous people collect and eat the fruit when it is yello. It is also eaten when it is dried.
Prickly Wattle
The prickly wattle produces edible seed. Traditionally, Indigenous people ground the seed into a flour which was used to make damper.
Victoria Wattle
The acacia wattle produces edible seed. Traditionally, Indigenous people ground the seed into a flour which was used to make damper.
Bush Banana
The green oval shape fruit from this climbing vine is a favoured fruit of Indigenous people. The roots and flowers and also edible.
Bush Passionfruit
This large shrub produces oval shaped fruit that are yellow when ripe. It contains small seeds surrounded by a sweet yellow flesh.
Bush Orange
The bush orange is a small tree that produces a round fruit with large seeds surrounded by a sweet yellow flesh.
